Tanky waits for Booga outside the Hampstead Police Station while they are on holiday visiting Tanky’s Grandparents. Freed, they begin trying to hitch a ride and are forced to steal a car after killing the rude owner. They arrive at their destination where Booga takes an unsupervised driving lesson and winds up in a pond. Tanky continues on foot to her Grandparent’s house. She learns of her Grandma’s illness and meets her peculiar cousin who had an unfortunate (and odd) childhood accident, leaving him deranged with a fetish for 70’s tv shows.
Grandpa tells Booga that he’s, "the right man for our little girl". They go to the annual church hall disco. they drink and a fight breaks out over Grandads success in the flower-show. The next day Tanky swears she can hear someone driving her tank (unlikely this far from the Outback), but she still investigates the noise coming from the shed. Apparently, the tanks she heard came from the War Museum next door. Which doesn’t explain how it really crashed into Grandpa’s shed...
Grandpa’s shed had (before getting tanked) contained his research into the fountain of youth which he believed resided nearby based on a myth regarding an angel named Barpharanges. Grandpa hoped the fountain of youth would heal his ailing wife. Tanky sets out (in a borrowed tank from the neighboring War Museum) to find the fountain, leaving Booga to look after her grandparents. Along her journey (to Stone Henge; for a clue) she picks up Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper who are hitch hiking.
At Stone Henge, cops are restricting access to the area and are also offended by Tanky’s "Fuck Off" t-shirt. So, she takes it off. the cops don’t like this so she disappears into the tank and fires out shortly on a chopper bike (Peter’s or Dennis’??).
